ABOUT
I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and have spent time working as a social worker in both Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN. After visiting friends who lived in New Mexico, I fell in love with the state and decided to move out west and make Albuquerque my permanent home.
There’s a beautiful passage by Jacquelyn Small that eloquently sums up the way I view and practice therapy: “When therapeutic relating occurs, both parties have dissolved the boundary between the one needing help and the other offering it; they are simply two beings bouncing off each other in truth… We all just need clear people to bounce off of so we can see our own light.” I believe that my role as a therapist is to help clients feel seen, validated, heard and safe, and to advocate and assist them in whatever areas of life they’ve identified needing extra support.
